The understated complexity of these pictorial rugs comes from a variety of hooking techniques, which in turn produce an unending source of luscious colors and textures. Special techniques such as stippling and stries gather three strands of different colors or shades together in a single loop providing tonal gradation, or an ombre effect. To add to the painterly quality, each rug is sheared by hand. Our handhooked rugs are made to order in any size, color, pattern or configuration in either 100% wool or wool/linen blends.
